How to start the Bake Danuki quest travel lover
You can start the quest after completing the quest Summer Sea Voyage 2: Spring Yard of Yesteryear , the second task in the event's main storyline.
Afterwards, you need to travel to the teleportation point, to the island near Pudding Island. Approach the bonsai tree on the rock and select " Change Bonsai Position ." In the panel, change the right island to " Glowing Rock . "
We head to Pudding Island and head southeast to the neighboring mountain, flying over the rift. The creature will be standing on one of the hills; after a conversation with it, the quest will begin.
Bake Danuki Walkthrough travel enthusiast in Genshin Impact
A Bake Danuki named Mamasuke talks about the loss of his friend Shibasuke. The heroes agree to help in the search and go for clues.
Use your elemental sense to find clues
At the meeting point, use your Elemental Sense and follow the blue elemental streams . At the top of the mountain, you'll first have to defeat three Electro Ghosts . Next, approach a small tree stump and pick up a leaf imbued with Anemo energy . Then, return to Mamasuke and tell him about the new detail.
Go to bonsai
We teleport to the highlighted island using the teleport point or dive down from the mountain. We move forward a little to the bonsai tree , which stands on a rock surrounded by greenery.
Change the rock formation to the right of the bonsai to Serenity Stones
Select "Change Bonsai Location ." Use the panel to transform the mountains into something resembling Mondstadt . Change the first and second rockeries to "Tranquil Stone ."
Find Shibasuke in the mountains and save the Bake Danuki
Next, we head back to the updated Pudding Island and fly to the opposite peak. It turns out there's a camp of monsters guarding the cage containing Shibasuke. You'll need to defeat all the enemies, then approach the cage and free Bake-danuki.
Meet Mamesuke
We return to Mamesuke's bonsai island to reunite our friends. The animals are overjoyed to finally meet and thank us. Before heading home to Inazuma , they ask for time to explore their new islands.
Upon their return, they talk about a certain fruit they found, but they could not get it.
Smash Anemo Amber
We follow the Danuki to the shore of Pudding Island . The food we find turns out to be sunsets, protected by an Anemo barrier.
To overcome it, we destroy the Anemo Amber standing near the tree with a normal attack. The wind current it emits doesn't last long, but Shibasuke corrects the situation and transforms into a new Anemo Amber. This too must be broken, and then rise up the wind, diving over the edges of the barrier. Afterwards, a dialogue about the fruits will begin, but the tailed beasts will interrupt, asking us to follow them further to see the fire flower.
Defeat Pyro Slime
They must follow their friends along the beach. Upon arrival, it turns out they were referring to a flaming flower . The heroes ponder how to extinguish the fire so they can pick the plant, and the conversation turns to Hydro Amber . Shibasuke once again displays his transformation skills and transforms into it.
The process is hampered by Pyro Slimes that have fallen from the sky and will need to be defeated.
After all that has happened, the curiosity finally manages to be collected. Bake-danuki got bored in the Mondstadt mountains, the Traveler suggests that they change the landscape to a similar one to Li Yue and they agree.
Change the rock formations on both sides of the bonsai to Steadfast Stones
Teleport to the bonsai and select " Change Bonsai Location ." In the menu, select "Unyielding Stone" for the right and left rockeries. The animals will set off on a journey, and upon returning, they will ask you to follow them again.
Solve the riddle
We teleport to Pudding Island using the teleport point and dive toward the tower. Near it are the pressure plates that the tailed beasts are interested in.
After the conversation, Shibasuke will turn into stone and teleport to one of them. Step on any unactivated plate , then place a stone on the last one using the Geo Traveler elemental skill . Once activated, a chest will appear. The joy of receiving the reward is interrupted by strange sounds nearby. The Danuki immediately travel to the source.
Defeat the Guardian of the Ruins
The source of the sounds turns out to be the guardian of the ruins . It must be defeated to save the animals, who have turned into amber from fear. After defeating him, a conversation begins in which they ask to return to the real Mondstadt and Liyue.
Wait for the anomalies of the island to stop and head to the bonsai
Currently, it's impossible to truly embark on further voyages and show Shibasuke and Manasuke the regions. To do so, you'll need to wait until the island's anomalies cease . This will likely occur after completing the Summer Sea Voyage 4 quest . We'll update this article as soon as the quest's continuation becomes available.
