The Wandering Abode in Genshin Impact is a world quest in Chenyu Valley in Liyue. During the quest, the Traveler must meet a mysterious girl on a bamboo raft and help her find her grandfather. One of the rewards is a 4-degree artifact.

How to start the Wandering Abode quest
To begin this quest, you must first complete the "Sacred Mountains, Qiaoying Village" quest from the "Jade Blessing" chain. Then, head to the small island west of Tea Tree Slope and rewind to 19:00 PM. Every night, a bamboo raft appears at this point, with a little girl on it. Talk to her to begin the quest.
Walkthrough of the quest Wandering Abode in Genshin Impact
The mysterious girl's name is Xiang Jun, and she is looking for her grandfather, who went to collect herbs. The baby believes that he was kidnapped by demons and asks the Traveler to help her with her search.
Find clues in the direction Xiang Jun pointed out.
Head southeast from where you met Xiang Jun. On a mountain near the Yaode Valley there is a tent in which you need to examine a bag hanging on a log. Study someone's notes, from which it turns out that grandfather found a shortcut to Xuanlian Mountain.
Find the "path"
Use the teleportation point in the south of Yaode Valley and move to the gorge in the northeast, where you will find a hilichurl camp near the river. To move on, defeat all the enemies nearby, then blow up the red barrels next to the large pile of stones, behind which you will find a passage into the cave. Go inside and go forward.
Explore the cave
Enter the cave and follow the tunnel straight until you can go down a little lower. Under the slope you will find a backpack and notes left by grandfather Xiang Jun. Study them, and then go to Xuanlian Mountain to help the man.
Head to Xuanlian Mountain
Teleport to Mount Xuanlian and descend to the cave in the northwest, the entrance to which will be blocked by a green barrier. To enter, you must simultaneously activate two pressure plates in front of the entrance. A carefree simulacrum stands on one of them , so simply stand on the adjacent one and wait for the barrier to lift.
If, before completing the quest, the simulacrum has already been used to solve the puzzle with a precious chest, then the Geo-construction of the Traveler, Zhong Li, the Amber Bunny, or other items from the characters can be placed on one of the slabs.
When the passage to the cave is open, go down the slope and watch a short cutscene with Paimon. Collect "sacred water" by interacting with the beam glowing in the pond, then return to Qiaoying Village.
Go to the herbalist's house and water the seeds of wonderful herbs
Return to Qiaoying Village by teleporting to the location and head northeast, where you will talk to Uncle Luo. A man stands in the courtyard of one of the houses and tells a strange story about his grandfather and Xiang Jun. After which he will offer to take the Traveler to the herbalist’s house and water the flowers with sacred water.
Head to the quest marker on the edge of Qiaoying Village and go around the house behind which you need to water the soil next to Uncle Luo. Then talk to the man himself, where the quest will end, but do not rush to leave.
Use the clock in Paimon's menu to rewind to the next day , which will allow you to see blue flowers growing in the area where the holy water was poured. Explore the point of interest and receive the 4-degree artifact, "Flower of Phantom Fragrance."
Achievement Dreams of Xiang Jun in Genshin Impact
To get the hidden achievement “Dreams of Xiang Jun” with the condition “Reveal the secret of the ghostly fragrance flower”, you must complete the task “Wandering Abode”. The achievement from the “Wonders of the World” section will allow you to get 5 source stones.
