Completing the Octave Maushiro quest in Genshin Impact can be challenging even for experienced players. It requires solving three puzzles in an anomaly zone. How to start the Octave Maushiro quest
Before receiving the quest, you must complete "A Very Exceptional Writer ." The quest will be given automatically the next day. To start the chain, find Sumida in Inazuma using the marker.

During the quest, you'll need to travel around the island and use a special item— the Strange Feather . It's used to activate objects and solve puzzles.
Go to Tsurumi Island
Once you've got the clues, head to the anomalous zone. The easiest way to reach it is from the Archon statue . The island and the corresponding area on the map will be covered in fog, blocking other teleporters. The fog will disappear once you pass through the gate.
Ru is standing nearby . Talk to him. After the conversation, you'll gain access to a new item— the Strange Feather . Equip the tool. Kill nearby mobs so they don't interfere with your use of the feather, then use it on the statue.
After this, an illusion named Kama will appear . Activate the point near the ghost's location. A maushiro is buried there . However, it's too early to return to Sumida, as Ru has asked for your help.

Teleport closer to the marker. Go to the quest area. On the spot, eavesdrop on the conversations of the locals. Just approach the people talking to each other and activate the dialogues.
During the process, it turns out that Roo is missing, although he should be here. The locals suspect he's hanging out in the Autake Plains , Oina Beach , or the Wakukau Shoal area . Paimon suggests starting with the latter location.

The first marker will be close to the ceremony site.
Ru won't be there, but there will be a statue. Use the feather on it.
Another illusion will appear. Quest objectives will change. You will need to solve the riddle of stones.
Use the pen next to them. An Electro Fairy will appear. Follow her. The creature will fly to another stone statue. Use the feather next to the statue. Hidden writings will appear on the wall.
The letters display the order in which you need to activate the stones. To do this, you need to hit them with an Electro element.
A new illusion will appear. She will give a lead and direct you to Oina Beach.

The next point is far from the sandbank, so use the teleporter. Jump to the marker. Ru won't be there again. Use the feather. More illusions will appear. They'll hint at a new puzzle and the next search location— the Autake Plains . But first, you need to solve the boulder puzzle. Here, you'll need to move the stones: each boulder must land on a slab with the corresponding symbol.
After solving the puzzle, illusions will appear again. Listen to their dialogue.
Head to the Autake Plains
The next location to explore is the Autake Plains . Teleport closer to them. The area is shrouded in fog. Attempting to activate the statue in the target area will teleport the hero to the beginning of the path.
The system will prompt you to use special stones. They are charged by the Electro element and disperse the fog. Find a cluster of stone statues. Approach them. This will activate a dialogue with Paimon. Use the feather.
Follow the fairies . They'll fly past fog-dispelling stones. Be sure to activate them along the way. If you don't, fog will appear around the screen, teleporting you back to the start of the path. Kill any mobs that get in the way.
Collect 3 stones. Each is located at the final point of the path of the fairies. Return to the cluster of stones and arrange the missing boulders.
The solution to the puzzle is painted on a large monument. Activate the stones in the given order.
The next illusion will appear.
After the scene with the illusion, return to the ceremony site. It turns out that all the people are gone.
Talk to Sumida
Go to Inazuma to see Sumida.
Give Sumida the maushiro . After a lengthy dialogue, the quest will be completed.
