How to start the quest In the flowery meadow
Go just above the city of Cour de Fontaine to the northwest side and between two buildings you will notice the owner of a flower field. Depending on whether the Meropid Fortress quest “An Unfinished Comedy” is completed, the dialogue with Earnshaw will change, and Lanoir will also appear nearby. The presence of a girl does not affect the task itself in any way. To get all the rewards, bring the Brave Man, Prince and Princess home.

From a dialogue with Earnshaw, you will learn how to find an approach to each dog. All that remains is to catch the animals and bring them to the end point.
Bring the Brave Home
One of the dogs, named Brave, ran the farthest. From the starting point of the meeting with Earnshaw, follow the path up and you will see the animal sitting on a hill surrounded by Suspicious Fowl. Paimon will tell you to pick up the food, otherwise he won't move.
After you remove the treat, the dog will go down the path - follow the Brave Man and escort him to the end point. Try to stand behind him: the animal moves in the opposite direction from the character. If you don’t have time, the animal will definitely wait.
About halfway through the path, Anemo and Dendro slimes may attack - they do not do much harm, but they distract. When you bring the first dog to the booth, you will see two more dogs among the flowers: these are the Prince and Princess hiding.
Bring the Prince home
The prince is located next to the left passage in the stone fence, and at the same point you can dig a time trial. Grandfather Earnshaw asked not to step on the flowers, which means that the dog should be carefully escorted.
If you touch the plants in the flower meadow, the NPC will be led out of the garden and the character will move to the point where the man himself usually stands. Depending on whether the “Unfinished Comedy” task is completed, Earnshaw will reprimand the hero or Lanoir will politely ask not to touch the flowers.
The screenshot below shows an easy way to get through, avoiding collisions with flowers. Carefully approach the dog from behind, and the Prince will jump through the plants following the blue arrow.
Follow the dog, but if you accidentally step on a sprout, you will instantly move to the point towards Earnshaw. There are two ways to exit the maze: through the gate doors or along the path. Remember that, like the Brave, the animal will move in the opposite direction from the active character.
As a result, the Prince will quickly reach the house, and all that remains is to bring the last dog.
Bring the princess home
The animal hid in the flower garden. If you finished the task and Lanoir returned home to Grandfather Earnshaw, then the girl will tell you to jump on top, otherwise Paimon will say this line.
You can get inside the perimeter of the flower garden either from the fence or from a nearby stroller. Try not to touch the flowers, otherwise you will have to run back from the owner of the garden. Once you are inside, the Princess will immediately move forward.
There are three ways to get back:
- Use any Anemo skill and thereby spin the clover, after which an air flow will appear. Land carefully downwards without hitting the flowers.
- Carefully jump over the plants.
- Step on the flowers and you will immediately find yourself in front of your grandfather. Progress with the animal will not disappear, and the Princess will remain at the point where she was driven.
Approach the Princess from behind and she will certainly move forward, along the same path that the Prince took - through the flowers and towards the house. You can now leave the garden through the wooden gate or follow the path.
When all three dogs are at the kennel, a new stage of the task will pop up - you will need to talk to Earnshaw. Return to the man at your original location and interact with him to complete the quest.
