The Stairway to the Capitol in Genshin Impact is a world quest that becomes available immediately after you destroy the Janus Gate and reach the new area using Scylla's Vishap. How to start the quest Staircase to the Capitol
The quest will begin after completing the previous quest , "The Last Day of Remuria." After speaking with Scylla, smash the Janus Gate to access a new area. Once you reach the Golden Palace, the mission will begin automatically.

Once in a new location, use the power of the dragon Scylla to quickly move and quickly reach the golden palace. During the passage you will have to defeat stone golems and weaken the castle’s defenses. To complete, you will also need to complete the optional mandatory quest to restore the Golden Paths.
Head to "Domus Aurea
You can get to the palace on your own by exploring each area and opening chests, but to move faster, use the power of the Scylla dragon:
- Vishap always follows the hero: no matter what part of the map is explored, he will float nearby.
- Aim at it and press "T" or the whale icon in the lower right corner to be attracted to the dragon.
- While near the dragon, select “Summon Current” and point the camera where you want to go.
- Click LMB and a strong current will push the Traveler out. The "E" key will change the direction of the camera.
- During the swim, the flow will weaken - press Space in time to continue swimming, or wait until the prompt disappears from the screen and the hero stops.

Explore the mysterious space
Before exploring the mysterious space, you have to defeat three powerful stone golems. Only the Traveler will be given to the squad, and his strength will not be enough to destroy the enemy. To win the battle, dodge the attacks and wait until the next cutscene starts.
The true form of Cassiodor will come to the rescue - he will deal with the golems and tell you more about the reality into which the Traveler was sucked. According to him, if Boethius is not stopped as soon as possible, this illusion will consume all of Fontaine and destroy him.

When you reach your destination for the first time using the Scylla Current, you'll earn the "Scylla Vishap Express" achievement . Don't forget to claim 5 Primogems for it in the Wonders of the World section.
