Genshin Impact: Banner Schedule 2024

The main way to obtain characters and weapons in Genshin Impact is through a gacha system called Prayers. A banner is essentially a set of characters and weapons, each differing in duration and key item. Prayers, or "rolls," are performed using Intertwined Fates or Fateful Encounters—a unique form of in-game currency. These can be obtained by exchanging Primogems (160 Primogems = 1 Prayer).

All banners are divided into two types: permanent and temporary.

Permanent banners in Genshin Impact

There are two permanent banners in the game, both of which use fateful encounters. They can get 3-5⭐️ weapons and 4-5⭐️ non-exclusive characters (which include most of the legendary characters).

Beginner's Banner

This is a time-limited banner in which you can only make 20 prayers using fateful meetings. It has a unique 20% discount and in general you will have to spend 16 prayers, not 20. When all attempts are used up, access to the banner is closed. There is a nice bonus for the player - for the first 10 prayers he is guaranteed to get ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ character - tank maid Noelle (geo), and has a chance to get a standard ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Interestingly, players have developed a reroll strategy that allows them to get a legendary character at the start using this banner.

Wanderlust Invocation

After the player completes his starting banner, one permanent banner remains, on which all the remaining fateful meetings will be spent. The chance of falling out on all items in it is basic, but there are no exclusive ones. The discount doesn't work either.

Current banners in Genshin Impact 5.0

For players, they are much more desirable than the standard ones - almost all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ characters are exclusive and available only during the duration of their banners (its duration is only 20 days). For them, intertwined destinies are used. A distinctive feature of such banners is the presence of characters or weapons with an increased chance of falling out. Despite this, getting what you want will be more difficult - the set of items includes standard ones, and the first legendary hero will turn out to be an event one with only a 50% chance.

Character Event Banner

This banner has an increased chance of dropping an exclusive ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ character, as well as 4⭐️, which are presented on the promotional art. In order to get 100% of the main character of the event, no more than 180 intertwined fates will be required.

First half from August 28 to September 17

In the first half of version 5.0, the following prayers will be released:

• banner Mualani(new, Hydro, catalyst);
• banner Kazuha (reran, Anemo, one-handed).

They will become four stars new Kachina (Geo, spear) Xin Yan (Pyro, two-handed) and Bennett (Pyro, one-handed).

From August 28 to September 17

The girls will be provided with their signature weapons: the Ride the Wave catalyst and the one-handed Oath of Freedom . Epic equipment: the Favonia sword, the Favonia two-handed sword, the Dragonbane spear , the Ceremonial Memoirs catalyst , and the Stringless bow.

Second half of patch 5.0

In the second half of version 5.0, prayers will include:

• banner Kinich (new Dendro, two-handed);
• banner Raiden (reran, Electro, spear).

Four star characters with them:

• Sara (Electric, bow);
• Thoma (Pyro, spear);
• Chevreuse (Pyro, spear).

In the Divine Incarnation, the chance for the following signatures will be increased: the two-handed Fang of the Mountain King and the spear Radiant Harvest . Four-star weapons: Ceremonial Bow, catalyst Wanderer's Song, one-handed Ceremonial Sword, two-handed Raincutter, and Spear of Favonius.

Banners in Genshin Impact 5.1

According to the official announcement, version 5.1 will feature the release of Geo Swordswoman Shilonen . The legendary heroine bears the Ocelot constellation and is a blacksmith for the Children of Echo tribe.

Banners in Genshin Impact 5.2-5.3

It's still too early to predict what will happen with update 5.2 and beyond, but the trailer also showed off other characters. It's expected that the five-star Sitlali (Cryo, Catalyst) and four-star Ororon (Electro, Bow) will be released.

There is no information about Mavuika and the girl from the first trailer of Iansan on the network yet. It was expected that Pyro Archon will join the Traveler in version 5.2, as usual, but insiders are in no hurry to confirm this hypothesis. Many believe that Archon will be released in patch 5.3.

Also expected are Xbalanque, the Harbinger of Capitano, and a goth girl with pigtails fused with the characters from Fontaine.
