How to get Arataki Itto in Genshin Impact

Itto is one of the exclusive characters that can be knocked out with the help of gacha in the Oni's Feast temporary banner. To find out when the next rerun of Arataki or any other character will be released, use the separate banner schedule for 2022.
Strengths and weaknesses of Arataki Itto
To the main pluses relate:
- high base crit and defense chance;
- powerful elemental damage that increases during Elemental Explosion;
- high attack speed compared to other two-handers;
- strong mechanics of charged attacks;
- useful E-shka, which distracts enemies and is able to deal 100k damage;
- Artifacts are easier to collect as it plays on defense.
Cons, which are important to consider when playing as Itto:
- damage is highly dependent on the ult, which is expensive;
- does not play from physical. damage;
- picky about the squads;
- reduces its own resistance.
Arataka Itto's Abilities and Talents
Normal attack: Performs up to four sweeping strikes. Normal attacks on 2nd and 4th hit grant 1 level of Incredible Strength effect (maximum 5 levels can be collected).
After using the E-Shot or Sprint, normal attacks will not be interrupted for a short period of time.
Charged attack:: If there are no stacks of special power - for a small amount of stamina, it hits with a spinning blow once. If there are stacks, it makes a series of strikes that do not consume stamina. Instead, the accumulated levels are spent for each hit. When the last level is left, Itto will deal increased damage with his falling attack.
Plunging attack: Standard hit with AoE physical damage upon landing.
Elemental Skill: throws a Wuxi bull in front of him (if you hold down the button, you can aim), which:
- when hitting an enemy, deals one-time Geo damage (does not cause periodic attacks);
- serves as bait;
- at the first appearance gives 1 lvl. strength;
- every 2 sec. Gain 1 level each if an enemy damages him;
- when there is no health remaining (initially it is equal to Itto's HP) or the duration ends, the goby disappears, giving 1 more lvl.
Elemental burst: Transforms into super-strong form, summoning a special weapon. Ulta has the following properties:
- weapons are endowed with Geo infusion, which cannot be killed by other elements;
- defense is converted into attack power, the speed of blows is much higher;
- the first and third hit give 1 ur. strength;
- all resistance is reduced by 20%;
- if Itto leaves the battlefield with the activated ult, its effect will be canceled.
Passive Talents
| Talent | Bonuses |
|---|---|
| Arataki Ichiban | While using Charged Attacks with accumulated stacks, Itto gains buffs:
|
| Legacy of the Crimson Oni | The damage of charged attacks with a special effect is increased by 35% of defense. |
| Woodchuck Chucked | When harvesting wood, there is a 25% chance that additional planks will drop. The effect applies to all party members. |
Constellations of Arataki Itto and which one is worth knocking out
| number | Constellation | bonus |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Hear my command | After applying the ult, lvl 2 is given. Incredible strength. After one sec. after activating the ult, Itto begins to receive 1 lvl. every 0,5 sec. within 1,5 sec. |
| 2 | All in a circle for a fight | After using the ult, the cooldown time of the skill is reduced by 1,5 seconds. for each squad member with a Geo element (max. time can be reduced by 4,5 seconds) and 6 units are restored. energy (max. 18 units). |
| 3 | Bull by the horns | + 3 levels to E-shki talents |
| 4 | prison treat | All party members will receive +20% to defense and attack power for 10 seconds. after the end of Itto's ult. |
| 5 | 10 years of fame Hanamizaki | +3 levels to ult talents. |
| 6 | Arataki Itto at your service! | +70% crit. damage to charged attacks. There is also a 50% chance that Special Charged Attacks will not consume Incredible Strength. |
The first constellation allows you to start the Elemental Burst immediately and increase the number of hits up to 8-10 times. To do this, before using the ult, you need to accumulate 2 stacks of power, and then apply the Explosion of the elements and E-shku. The constellation is good, but not decisive, since the hero stacks well without him. Spinning further than 1 constant does not make sense (unless to get the most powerful - 6).

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Redhorn Stonethresher | ![]() | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
| Passive: +28%–56% defense. +40%–80% Normal and Charged Attack Damage. The best option. Gives a massive amount of damage that other swords can't match. |
| Serpent Spine | ![]() | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
| Passive: Every 4 sec. while on the battlefield increases its damage by 6%–10% and damage taken by 3%–1.8%. The effect stacks up to 5 times and does not reset when changing heroes. Upon taking damage, one level of the bonus is removed. The sword from the battle pass. An expensive and time-consuming choice for obtaining copies. Grants a crit chance, with which you can fully focus on knocking out artifacts from a crit. damage. The passive stacks easily, but a shield is needed to maintain the maximum bonus. |
| Whiteblind | ![]() | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
| Passive: Hit by normal or charged attacks for 6 sec. Increases defense and attack power by 6%–12%. The effect occurs every 0.5 seconds. and stacks up to 4 times. The best free weapon. Gives both attack and defense, which greatly increases the damage in the ult. It is on the same level with a paid sword from BP. |
| Skyward Pride | ![]() | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
| Passive: +8%–16% damage. Casting an ult, hitting with normal or charged attacks releases a blade that deals 80%-160% damage to all enemies in its path. The effect lasts 20 seconds. or 8 intangible blades. Gives additional passive damage and allows you to ult often. |
| The Unforged | ![]() | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
| Passive: +20%–40% to shield strength. Also increases Attack by 4%–8% for 8 seconds. when hitting an enemy. The effect occurs every 0.3s. and stacks up to 5 times. If the character is under a shield, the bonus is doubled. Gives a good attack bonus, but requires a shield for maximum damage. |
| Blackcliff Slasher | ![]() | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
| Passive: Defeating an enemy increases attack power by 12% - 24% for 30 seconds. Stacks up to 3 times. The duration of additional bonuses does not depend on each other. An unstable passive that does not work with bosses or in the Abyss with one opponent. Weaker than a crafting sword, so put only if the materials for the White Shadow have not yet been collected, and this weapon is idle. Buying in the store does not make sense. |
| Katsuragikiri Nagamasa | ![]() | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
| Passive: +6%–12% Elemental Skill. Upon taking damage, the character loses 3 energy, but for the next 6 seconds. restores 3-5 units. every 2 sec. The effect works even when the character is not on the battlefield. Happens every 10 seconds. Another crafting weapon. Great for charging Elemental Burst and giving an increase to already powerful elemental damage, but worse than White Shadow. |
| White Iron Greatsword | ![]() | ⭐⭐⭐ |
| Passive: After defeating an enemy, the equipped hero recovers 8%-16% health. A great option in the early stages of the game. |
Characters and team lineup for Arataka Itto in Genshin Impact
| Character | Element | Weapon | Why is it suitable |
|---|---|---|---|
Gorou | Geo | Bow | Goro is a Bennett for Geo characters and therefore an ideal support for Itto. His flag gives out defense and Geo damage bonus, can also give out energy with Favonius bow and buff on damage with a set of Nobles. |
Zhongli | Geo | Polearm | Cuts resistances and provides a shield that is especially useful for Itto (Oni's ult reduces resistance). |
Diona | Cryo | Bow | Hiller and shield in one person. It also distributes a lot of energy. In the Geo squad, it will help to create additional shields with crystallization. |
Albedo | Geo | One-handed sword | Doesn't buff Itto in any way, but does a ton of damage without taking much time on the battlefield. |
Barbara | Hydro | Catalyst: | Even if Goro has the 4th constellation, but which he begins to heal, the heal gives little, and Barbara is a wonderful healer, besides it is free. With the epic about dragon slayers, he can also buff on the attack. |
Bennett | Pyro | One-handed sword | Bennet goes into almost all packs and units with Itto are no exception. |
Ningguang | Geo | Catalyst: | Gives out a lot of energy. Grants a screen that increases Geo damage when passed through. In the presence of constellations, it causes huge ultimate damage. |
Fischl | Electro | Bow | Excellent pocket damage dealer. |
Thoma | Pyro | Polearm | If there are 2 Geo characters in the squad, you definitely need a shield and Toma will do an excellent job with this. |
Mona | Hydro | Catalyst: | Accelerates Omen damage and pours energy. |
Bay Doe | Electro | Claymore | Powerful elemental damage and shield. |
Rosaria | Cryo | Polearm | Gives a crit chance. Deals good damage while Itto's ultimate is charging. |
Xiangling | Pyro | Polearm | Imbovy sup-dd. Paired with a second Pyro hero (ideally Bennet) will give an extra attack. |
Geo gg | Geo | One-handed sword | The geo traveler also looks good with Itto. Ulta gives an additional 10% to the chance. crit hit. |
Team samples
Crimson Oni poorly fills itself with energy and reduces its own resistance. Therefore, ideally, he needs to select a squad of 3 Geo characters that will give elemental particles and shields to increase survivability, quickly gain energy and receive bonuses from Geo resonance. Crystallization shields are unreliable, and it's definitely not worth upgrading a Geo character to mastery, so a shieldman in a squad with Itto is mandatory. On slot 4, you can put sup-dd of any element or healer.
| The backbone of the group | Sap-dd | Support | Hill/Shield/Support | Group features |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Itto | Albedo | Gorou | Zhongli | The best mono-Geo squad, equally good against all elements except Geo. Huge amount of energy, damage and buffs. Albedo can be replaced with Ning Guang, but this is not the best option. |
Itto | Mona | Gorou | Zhongli | A powerful unit with high survivability that aims to increase Itto's damage. |
Itto | Venti | Gorou | Zhongli | With the Geo screed, the characters also play well. |
Itto | Fischl | Geo gg | Diona | A more budget-friendly option with Fischl's Raven passive damage, Geo GG's crit chance, and Dione's shields for a resonance bonus. |
Itto | Bay Doe | Fischl | Zhongli | The team has proven itself in the Abyss. |
Itto | Xiangling | Bennett | Noel | Pyro resonance from the most popular couple, which looks good in a squad with Itto. Noel is needed to close the Geo Resonance and shield. If Itto has little recovery, you can replace Noel with Geo gg, but in this case, the resonance buff is lost. |
Itto | Gorou | Bennett | Thoma | Another great team with resonances, buffs and Shield, which, if Toma has constellations, can be constantly maintained. |
Itto | Ningguang | Chongyun | Bennett | Revolver pack option. |
How to play as Arataki Itto
All the abilities of the head of the gang Arataki indicate that he is the backbone of the group, which does not play from physical. damage and requires characters with certain skills. Any other role is not suitable.

Incredible Strength Mechanic seems difficult, but it's enough to alternate normal and charged attacks to gain stacks of super strength and hit with increased damage. To determine how many stacks have accumulated, the lights on the mask will help, which appear gradually with a set of Incredible strength.
For even more damage try to summon bull in ult (if activated at the very beginning, you can use the E-shku 2 times per ult).
Is it worth it to knock out Arataki Itto

At the moment, Itto is the strongest Geo elemental damage dealer. If you liked the abilities and history of the character, you should knock him out at any stage of the game. The selection of artifacts is simplified by increasing the damage from defense, and everyone has characters with whom you can make a powerful squad.
